The animals at Lincoln Park Zoo gobble up their vegetables in astonishing quantities. Just how much do they eat? Zoo animals eat nearly 40,000 pounds, or about 20 tons, of produce each and every week. A typical grocery list for a week at the zoo might include

An ADOPT an Animal sponsorship is an opportunity for your school or youth group to get involved and to help us feed the zoos animals. Inspire children ages 5–12 to learn the importance of wildlife conservation and teamwork. Choose a favorite animalone that symbolizes your school mascot or reflects your concern for a specific endangered animalthen, develop a creative way to raise money for your ADOPT an Animal donation.
